Teodoro R. Arias

Teodoro R. Arias went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, in Abilene, Texas.  Teodoro was born to Ricardo and Luisa Arias on December 15, 1936, in Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico. He is preceded in death by his parents as well as his wife Maria Elena Arias, his sister Manuela Gomez and his brothers Ricardo Arias and Jose Luis Arias.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children Esther Arias, Raul Arias, Ruben Arias, Angelica Arias and Luis Roberto Arias; his sisters Esther Garza and Maria Elena Ponce; brothers Miguel Arias and Ramon Arias and multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Besides his family, Teodoro was proudest of owning a successful bakery in San Antonio, Texas for many years. He loved to watch boxing and spending time with friends and family, enjoying everyone’s company. He was a compassionate and giving man and was proud to help friends and family when they were in need.

A celebration of Teodoro’s life will occur on Wednesday August 2, 2023.  The Recitation of the Rosary will be prayed on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 7 West Avenue "N", San Angelo, Texas 76903 with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 a.m.  Interment and Committal Service will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 1501 West Avenue "N", San Angelo, Texas 76903, under the direction and care of Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes, San Angelo, Texas 76903.
