With heavy hearts and profound respect, we share the passing of Teodoro López, Jr., 68, of San Angelo, Texas. He was a man whose spirit and character left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him.
Teodoro found joy in life's simple pleasures. Whether spending time at the park, camping beneath the open sky, enjoying music, dancing, or gathering around a barbecue with family and friends, he embraced the moments that brought people together. Though often shy, those who knew him best understood that beneath his calm demeanor was a warm and engaging personality. Family and friends often smiled at a trait that was uniquely his own, Spanish was his language of choice, but after a couple of adult beverages, he would often start conversing in English.
The memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the relationships he nurtured will continue to be cherished by those who loved him. While his absence is deeply felt, his presence remains woven into the stories, traditions, and moments that continue to bring his family comfort.
Mr. López is survived by his brother, Daniel López; his sisters, Eva McCutcheon, Yolanda Ledesma and Irma López; his sister-in-law, Connie López and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family of Mr. López extends its heartfelt gratitude to Shannon North, the compassionate staff of Gentiva Hospice, and especially Whitney, whose exceptional care, kindness, and dedication brought comfort not only to Teodoro, but also to those who loved him.
The López family has confidently chosen to be supported by Gutierrez Funeral Chapels during this time of remembrance.
