Velia Hernandez

Velia Hernandez, 74, of San Angelo, passed away on October 3, 2020 in a local care center.  Visitation will commence on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 3:00 pm Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North.  A Prayer service will be at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.  Cremation will follow.

Our mother was a loving caring woman. She had a heart of gold. She loved to be silly and love to be herself and she always had you smile. My mother always amazed us, and she was the mother you could always count on.  She loved her children dearly. Now that our Mother is resting in paradise. Our love for our mother will continue to grow and our love for her will never die. 

Survivors include: two sons, Juan Enrique Hernandez, Jose Arturo Hernandez.  One daughter Maria Alejandra Villanueva.  Brothers, Jose Angel Hernandez-Rios, Olegario Hernandez-Rios.  Sisters, Maria de la Luz Hernandez-Rios, Maria Elena Hernandez Govea.  Twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. 

Services have been entrusted to Gutierrez Funeral Chapels/North and the Gutierrez family.
