With sorrow, the family of Vicente Garza Jr., announce his passing on Saturday, February 19, 2022, in San Angelo, Texas. Vicente was born to Vicente Garza, Sr. and Francisca Aguilar Garza, in San Angelo, Texas on July 25, 1940.
Vicente was proud to serve his country in the U. S. Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War, upon completing his active service and fully retired from the military, he embarked on a career as a businessman. He was the owner of Fire King in San Antonio, Texas. His success in business can be directly attributed to his work ethic and his natural mechanical ability. He took pride in the fact that he always left his customers satisfied. Vicente retired from the business and moved to San Angelo, Texas in order to be closer to family. Vicente enjoyed his daily visits to the Senior Citizen Center and in order to stay physically active loved to spend time on the treadmill. The discipline and patriotism he learned in the Air Force never left him, as friends and family will attest.
Mr. Garza is now reunited with his son, Vincent Greg Garza, who preceded him in death.
Vicente will forever be remembered by his children: Cynthia Garcia (Tony Garcia), Katherine Tarpley, Sylvia Garza (Paul Casarez), Russell Garza and Jerry Garza. He will be fondly remembered by his sister, Rosa Moreno (Andy Moreno).
