Yvette Madrigal Obituary

Those who knew Yvette C. Madrigal (Candy), 85 of San Angelo, Texas will always remember her caring, loving, and bright spirit.

Candy loved the color turquoise, mountain landscapes, historic places, and the simple moments of everyday life. Her appreciation for the classics extended beyond historic places and scenic landscapes to the music she loved, with The Beatles and Elvis Presley holding a permanent place among her favorites.

Those who knew Candy will fondly remember her unique signature traits: her love for the color turquoise, the cherished turquoise jewelry gifted to her by loved ones, and her well-known fondness for Diet Coke and Coca-Cola. She was exceptionally talented with her hands and heart, finding comfort in knitting, baking, and cooking for those she loved.

Candy’s home and heart were always open. She kept a watchful, loving eye on the neighborhood children, many of whom found a welcoming second home in her care. Her legacy lives on in the countless kindnesses she shared and the lasting impression she left on everyone fortunate enough to cross her path.

Candy was born in El Paso, Texas, to the late Don and Daisy Wright. She is deeply missed and lovingly survived by her children: Frank & Veronica Madrigal (Son and Daughter-in-law), Richard & Jessica Madrigal (Grandson and Granddaughter-in-law), Jake & Justine Talamantez (Grandson and Granddaughter-in-law), and Marie Madrigal (Daughter); Grandchildren: Porschea Penn, Krystal Roberts, Jazmin Talamantes; Great-Grandchildren: Solene Madrigal & Saniya Vann.

Yvette’s legacy lives on in the countless kindnesses she shared, the people she cared for, and the lasting impression she left on those fortunate enough to know her.
